THE ORIGINAL ESTOCK FARMS, established in Pennsylvania in 1922, earned an excellent reputation as a family operated state of the art Dairy Farm known for its adherence to quality standards.

TODAY, ESTOCK FARMS OF TEXAS has earned the same excellent reputation for quality as a family run Arabian and Half-Arabian breeding and leasing farm.

OUR MARES are the heart and soul of our breeding program as well as our lives. Correctness, beauty, heart and people loving dispositions was our focus and has become our achievement. Our mares over the years have proven that achievement is not by accident - it's planned, nurtured lovingly and put into action through diligence by crossing the best with the best. We have been honored with horses from child's friend to winning show horse.

But we also know that there are many people outside the small circle of horse owners who have the same goals and dream of the same achievements but know that either the cost of a top quality broodmare will make it impossible for them to pursue as an owner or with the high cost of boarding it can take a financial toll.

Yet dreams can still come true through LEASING. We have set in motion a leasing program that we feel will make it possible for those of you who have a dream to breed their own super star, trail horse or companion.

On February 13, 2004, we had the biggest snow storm in 20 years. They say if you don't like the weather in Texas just give it 5 minutes and it will change. That was so true - by mid day it was in the 60's and reduced our snow to a memory.

BARNEY ... He works very hard ... in his dreams. AKA ... Couch Potato. Barney came to us -- wild. When he discovered the joys of love he moved in lock, stock and couch!

The ponds are a wonderful, relaxing place to Bar-B-Q come summertime. Once the sun sets we sit and listen to the musical tones of the "Frog Symphony Orchestra," close our eyes and dream.

Somedays you get up on the wrong side of the perch and the whole day is upside down.

What a joy to find that we had a surprise last spring when we gave birth to baby goldfish. Since the pond is tended to daily all the kids are doing great.

"B.B." is the latest addition to Estock Farms. He is four weeks old in this photo. Can you guess what he is?? Give up?? He is a "big / little" brindle Great Dane puppy!

Raymond, being a tax accountant, needs all the help he can get.

"Paint My Hi Socks" (Paint My Socks x Chicks High Yellow) and "EF Honey Dijon" (SS Hympressive Coy x Cutters Valene) are both Champion bred lease mares enjoying a romp in the pasture.

Peaceful Coexistence. All of our pastures are divided with the safest fencing that our research led us to. The safety of our mares and foals is first and foremost, therefore, we chose ElectroBraid. Our mares have plenty of room to trot in the shade. They share large pastures and all of our mares are hand placed so that all get along. We believe in a stress free environment
